How does Clever save me money?

We've negotiated 1.5% or 2% listing commissions (depending on your state) with top agents at brokerages like Keller Williams, Century 21, and RE/MAX - well below the typical 3% rate. You get full-service representation, you save thousands.

Are Clever agents full service?

Yes. Every agent in our network is a licensed full-service agent at a recognized brokerage. They handle pricing, photography, marketing, showings, negotiations, and closing.

Is there any obligation to use the agent you match me with?

None. We'll introduce you to two or three top agents in your area. Interview them, compare them, and pick the one that's right for you - or walk away. Always free, always your call.

How is the listing commission calculated?

Your listing commission is 1.5% or 2%, depending on your state. For homes valued under $200,000 (1.5% states) or $150,000 (2% states), check with your agent for more details. Buyer's agent commission (typically 2-3%) is separate and still applies.

Can I save when buying with Clever too?

Yes. Buyers who purchase a home through a Clever-matched agent get a $250 gift card toward their move. Buyers who also list with Clever get $500. Clever Cash Back is available in 42 states. If you're not moving, a Home Depot card can be substituted.
